Today, we released Mandarin Bubble Bath to Google Play. There is a free version where you get the first 3 categories to play for free and purchase other categories with in-app purchases. And then there is the full version of the game, which is currently selling for $2.99 as an introductory price.
Back when I started learning Chinese twenty years ago (I never get used to saying that), it wasn’t easy to get learning materials. Whenever we found a book in Chinese, we’d buy it. I had an old tattered edition of the People’s Daily that one of our instructors had given me and I would attempt to read it every so often.
Now, there is loads of resource materials out there to learn. I think that games will help language learning in a lot of ways. It’s more fun than flash cards and you kind of feel like you are just messing around when you should be studying.
Here is the link for the Lite version.

The iPhone/iPad version is complete too, but is currently being reviewed by Apple. Samsung is also reviewing the app for the Samsung store.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn some Chinese, now is the perfect opportunity. And you will enjoy doing it a lot more than I did. Have fun.
We’re looking into some new ideas for the next games. If you have any ideas, or want to get one developed yourself, let me know.
