French Bubble Bath

French Bubble Bath

Learn French or at least keep up with your vocabulary with French Bubble Bath – a free French language game from Overpass Apps. Whether you are traveling to Paris, Nice, or Disneyland Paris . . . wouldn’t it be cool to pick up some French first?

French Bubble Bath is a simple game. You just have to pop the bubbles with the corresponding vocabulary translation. The early levels give you a 50/50 chance of getting it right. You are basically just guessing. But as you progress through all the levels of each language category, your knowledge of the words improve.

Just when you think you’ve learned the words very well, some levels will force you to listen to the native speaker saying the word — since there is no text. Other levels force you to read the word (as there is no voice.

Are you ready for the challenge?

French Bubble Bath has a vocabulary in the following categories:
✓ Numbers
✓ Animals
✓ Body Parts
✓ Colors
✓ Sizes
✓ Verbs
✓ Travel
✓ Time
✓ Person Nouns
✓ Adjectives
✓ Food
✓ Useful Phrases

Just some of our reviews

There are a few glitches in this game; a few parts that are not complete but it is a good, basic learning tool. I think, however, that the creators should perfect the free components before they ask users to purchase the more advanced components. I would have, but did not trust them to deliver value for the cost.

Basically this is a great fun app. I only wish it went a little slower so that you could really focus on the word. I also wish they did more with pronunciation. But definitely a fun learning app

I like the game and the oppurtunity to play and learn french. However, I am running into some confusion on the levels that switch English to the bubbles. Say the first bubble says “to drink” the voice says “boire” and I select boire on the side. But the next bubble also says “to drink” and the voice says a different word, so I select the word that was said. But now I am associating that word, that does not mean “to drink” with that translation. There are no instructions that say “listen, don’t read.” If that is the design it is confusing, and the bubbles should just be blank. It should be fixed.

Great
Great for beginners and intermediate students. I like the variety of levels. I love the level that you have to listen to the word and not see it, that is my favorite.

Virneicia Sims on Google Play (4th January 2017)

Fun and helpful
I love this game because it is not only educated game but it also fun and train my mind. The only thing that it can improve is when i want to change the category i am in i have to get out from the game and then i start it back from the scratch, it would be better if i can change the category without leaving the game

It is awesome for learning but…
It is awesome for learning but please increase the sound of the app as it is difficult to clear level four and five. Please add a back or home button , I hate exiting the app to change the category.

Hot & Warm
I like the game but find that occasionally it will skip a level. Also, am I missing something, the word for warm and hot are the same and I use up a heart when I choose the wrong word (choosing hot instead of warm). Otherwise this is a great way to get to know some words. Thanks for making it available.

Nice app
Give you basic words and it helps a lot with the velocity game to memorize those words, cool app if you need to learn but have a lot in your mind and can’t concentrate. The only thing It bogs me is that when you finish a game you have to quit the app and open it again to select another game, apart from that is a fun app
